Jasmin Lawrence and Eric Murphy made big news on Saturday, November 30, with a sweet relationship Instagram postbut Jasmin revealed the proposal actually fell through on November 27. The couple shared a video of the magical moment to Eric Benét’s song ‘Spend My Life With You’.

In the video, Jasmin and Eric enter a beautifully decorated venue with white lit candles and bouquets of roses everywhere. They walked down a path covered with rose petals, stopping in front of a giant red heart. When the two reached the end of the street, Eric knelt down and asked the important question while Jasmin looked delighted. Both Jasmin and Eric wore all-black outfits suitable for the special occasion.

They captioned the post, “November 27, 2024 We are engaged!! God has truly blessed us with a love that feels like destiny. We couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter ❤️❤️”

Eddie Murphy hasn’t commented on the big news, but on Saturday, Martin Lawrence reposted their engagement video on his Instagram Story.
