ChatGPT Pro is here and can be “thought out” but OpenAI will charge a whopping $200 for it
OpenAI ChatGPT has been available for several years, initially launching in 2022. Since its release, the AI tool has consistently offered a free option to access the chatbot. How expensive, you ask? Well, it costs $200 per month, which is almost $17,000 INR. At this price, OpenAI has made sure that it offers some unique and advanced features that are not available at lower levels.
What does ChatGPT Pro offer?
First, the company claims that this $200 monthly subscription grants unlimited access to its most advanced AI model, OpenAI o1, along with GPT-4o. A Pro subscription also includes Advanced Voice Features and access to o1 Pro Mode, which specifically allows users to take advantage of higher computing power.
This increased computing power ensures the model can “think harder” and provide solutions to complex problems. OpenAI has also stated that in the future, the Pro tier will include even more powerful compute resources and productivity-focused features.

Users subscribed to ChatGPT Pro can access o1 Pro Mode via the model selector. However, because this is a computationally intensive model, the response may take longer and the user will see a progress indicator while the model generates the response.
