Gran Turismo World Series 2024 Finals live in Amsterdam starting December 8 – PlayStation.Blog


It’s a special time of year in the GT calendar as we travel to Amsterdam in the Netherlands for the tournament’s World Finals. Gran Turismo World Series 2024. After three spectacular rounds in Montreal in July, Prague in August and Tokyo in September, the points at the top of the table are very close as the action returns to the Amsterdam Theater, the setting of the World Series Showdown 2023.

As always, the Toyota Gazoo Racing GT Cup final is the warm-up event for the World Finals weekend and takes place at 16:00 CET on Friday, December 7. Always competitive, TGR The GT Cup will feature established World Series stars, aiming to make a winning start to their weekend, with a number of newcomers to the international scene looking to make a statement self. 24 drivers from around the world race in two rounds before the Final decides the 2024 champion.

Team Lexus tops the points table at the Manufacturers Cup. But its talisman, Igor Fraga (BRA), winner of Round 1 in Montreal, will not be at the World Finals due to his commitment to racing Super GT in Japan. Harald Walsen from Chile is second, but second-placed Porsche hopes to make up the four-point deficit while edging Team BMW, who are just one point behind.

With a single driver representing each team in Rounds 1-3, all three will join forces in Amsterdam and share racing duties and team strategy. The Producers Cup match can be watched live at 19:00 CET on Friday.

On Sunday, December 8 at 16:00 CET, the Nations Cup takes center stage. Frenchman Kylian Drumont’s perfect victory in Tokyo took him to the top of the rankings. He leads by a single point after a three-way tie for second that included three former champions: Spain’s Jose Serrano; Montreal champion Takuma Miyazono of Japan; and the winner of Round 2 in Prague, Valerio Gallo of Italy.

Race like the best in Gran Turismo 7

There are many ways to participate in the World Series in Gran Turismo 7. By clicking the Predict Winner campaign banner on the GT7 World Map, players can receive one million credits for each TGR GT Cup, National Cup and Manufacturers Cup with votes cast right up until the start of the final race of each series.*

Simply watching in-game broadcasts can unlock some special gifts in GT7 through the Viewer Gifts campaign.

Players can also take part in two special challenges in Gran Turismo 7 that reflect the combination of cars and tracks on display at the World Finals: Red Bull X2019 on the Nürburgring 24h and Gr.3 on the Spa- Francorchamps.
