In our upcoming release Star Wars: Episode I: The Jedi Battle for PowerLaunching January 23 on PS5 and PS4, we’re excited to introduce the new Lightsaber Color Switch. This update gives you the ability to switch between classic lightsaber colors from the base game or adjust to colors that match what you’ve seen in the expanded Star Wars galaxy—in the books, movies and television series.
For the first time, Mace Windu can wield his iconic purple lightsaber in Jedi Power Battles, a symbol that resembles his weapon seen throughout the Star Wars films. and more. In a galaxy of challenges, each color change adds unique flair to your lightsaber combat.
New transformations give you more ways to personalize your gameplay experience with characters like Adi Gallia, Plo Koon, and Ki-Adi-Mundi. Get ready for battle by choosing your character and now the color of your lightsaber!
Star Wars Episode I: Battle for the Jedi Powers is packed with memorable locations and action, from Theed Palace on Naboo to Trade Federation Battleships. Along the way, players will have to confront hordes of droids and the ruthless Darth Maul himself.
Lightsaber colors: original and new
- Mace Windu: Original – Blue | New – Purple
- Adi Gallia: Original – Red | New – Blue
- Plo Koon: Original – Gold | New – Blue
- Ki-Adi-Mundi: Original – Purple | New – Blue

How to access Lightsaber Conversion
Changing the color of your lightsaber is as easy as burning your blade! On the character selection screen, tap the Square button. Choose the color of the lightsaber that best matches your vision of your favorite Jedi and prepare for battle!
