Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Free Update Adds Local Teams and Rivalries
A free update will be available appear IN Dragon Ball: Zero Ray on December 12, 2024. After this update goes live, all stages will appear in local vs mode.

Please note, Bandai Namco will conduct maintenance from 12 to 2 a.m. PST/3 a.m. to 6 a.m. EST on December 12, 2024 to enable the update to be deployed. The addition of all stages in local PvP mode is the biggest part of this update. There will also be some QoL changes, such as a character display change function and a “My Set” function for party members. Online matches will also allow you to skip the battle intro animation as long as both players agree to skip it as well.
In terms of combat system adjustments, there will be new high-speed Dragon Dash action. It allows you to quickly close the gap between you and your opponent. There are also many other tweaks. For example, if you are performing a Smash Attack, your opponent will no longer be able to stun you with Rush Ki Blast. You can also move while deflecting Rush Ki Blasts.
Finally there will be some tweaks for: Android 19, Dr. Gero, Cell 2nd Form, Cooler, Great Ape Vegeta and Dr. Wheelo. All changes, including more detailed information on functionality and combat system adjustments, are available on Bandai Namco site because of this Dragon Ball: Zero Ray update.
