Delano Miami Beach will reopen in late 2025
One of the hotels that put the lifestyle hotel movement on the map will have a renaissance on Miami Beach late next year.
The long-awaited revival of Delano Miami Beach will make a big splash in the city’s hotel scene next year. The extensive renovation will create 171 converted guest rooms and suites, including Bungalow and Penthouse suites. Guests will enjoy the hotel’s “Apple a Day” facility, which serves selected dishes in apple-shaped glass pitchers.
Along with views of the Miami skyline and the Atlantic Ocean, the new Delano Miami Beach will feature four restaurants and bars, including a revival of the hotel’s iconic Rose Bar. Delano’s return also means the revival of the hotel’s famous above-ground pool deck, oceanfront amenity deck and fourth-floor pool.
Although the Delano Miami Beach’s art deco building dates back to 1947, it wasn’t until famous hotelier Ian Schrager and designer Philippe Starck joined forces to open the property as the Delano it was only in 1995 that it became a fixture in hospitality and the see-and-be-circuit was seen. Delano, is now part of the Accor’s Ennismore lifestyle hotel branchclosed during the height of the pandemic but is now part of a growing global hotel group.

Earlier this year, Ennismore partnered with real estate investor Cain to reopen the flagship Delano hotel in Miami Beach and grow the brand globally. As part of the deal, Cain now has a minority stake in the Delano brand.

Pasricha added: “Today, together with Cain, we continue the iconic Delano story, writing a new chapter for the brand’s journey, not only with the grand opening of Delano Dubai this month but also with the reopening of the brand’s flagship store, Miami Beach.” “We can’t wait for guests, both new and existing, to rediscover Delano Miami Beach.”
Maison Delano – one of TPG’s best hotel openings last year – is the brand’s Parisian offering, while the new 251-room Delano Dubai faces the Persian Gulf. Delano Miami Beach is the brand’s return to the United States. Las Vegas location closed earlier this year amid MGM Resorts’ partnership with Marriott International to open a W Hotel in its location.
