The prisoner’s relatives tried to break into the prison

A riot inside a prison in the southern Mexican state of Tabasco left seven inmates dead, leading to family members trying to break inside to check on their loved ones.

Four police officers and six other inmates were injured in the incident in the town of Villahermosa on Thursday.
