Anycolor Warning About Phishing Emails Involving Attorney Nijisanji
ANYCOLOR posted a statement on X (formerly known as Twitter) regarding suspected phishing emails allegedly from lawyers affiliated with Nijisanji. The entertainment company clarified that neither ANYCOLOR nor Nijisanji sent any such e-mails and warned recipients not to open any attachments or reply to the said e-mails.
You can find the official statement regarding ANYCOLOR, Nijisanji, their impersonation of lawyers, and the aforementioned scam below:
The statement mentions that suspicious emails are being sent from “[email protected]” address is not affiliated with ANYCOLOR or Nijisanji. ANYCOLOR continues to caution consumers against opening or downloading any attachments and that these emails, if received, will not be responded to. The statement also mentions that personal information should not be disclosed to the sender in question.
In October 2024, ANYCOLOR announced it would take legal action against defamation of the company and its subsidiary Nijisanji. This would include slandering any agency associated with ANYCOLOR, its talent, and breach of privacy. Another reason ANYCOLOR has the potential to take legal action is employee impersonation. It is unclear whether ANYCOLOR will take action against these scammers.
