Travis Hunter clapped back at haters for talking about his fiancée

Travis Hunter reacts to new comments about his fiancee Leanna Lenee

The Shade Room caught Travis Hunter on a livestream, where he candidly clapped back at “haters” for making light of his relationship with Leanna Lenee. The Colorado Buffaloes football player has made it clear that he does not approve of people constantly going online to talk about him and Leanna.

“They want me to be unhappy. They don’t want me to be in a relationship. I’m not going to lie, the comments and people… and the hate I’m getting, that is [draining]. It’s definitely draining. I definitely won’t be myself in a minute,” Travis said during the broadcast.

He called out the nonstop chats, saying people always find something new to complain about when it comes to his relationship.

“We’re just a topic now. Why did I break up with my girl, because the internet wanted me to break up with my girl. No one knows me or her personally. Dude, leave us alone, man. I have been with my girl for 5 years, this year suddenly you all want to say something,” he added.

Late on Sunday (December 23), The Shade Room secretly saw Travis seemingly deactivating his Instagram account. It’s unclear whether the internet shutdown is temporary or permanent. Hunter logged out amid a video that appeared to show a woman dressed as his current fiancee twerking with a man at a party. It’s unclear when that kickback occurred.

The roommate wasted no time sliding in Dark Room commentary to share their thoughts on Travis Hunter’s latest comments about Leanna Lenee. Some people gave him props for standing by his girlfriend, while others said people should let him figure things out on his own.

Travis defends Leanna after online criticism

Travis’ latest comments come after Bow Wow tried to draw him into the game about Leanna. Bow didn’t hesitate to question Leanna’s intentions after social media caught her allegedly dropping a money-grubbing heart emoji under Anthony Edwards’ Instagram photo.

This isn’t the first time Travis has addressed backlash directed at him and Leanna. Immediately after he won the Heisman Trophy, the Internet criticized Leanna for the way she acted at the ceremony and during Travis’ meet-and-greet, where she looked less than happy. However, Travis shut down all chat during the livestream to make it clear that he knows who his girls are. Leanna Lenee also responded to criticism in several videos.

“Find something else to talk about. Talking about my girl. Looking for a girl, looking for life. Don’t worry about what I have going on, I know what I got! I know my girl. My girls have been with me for 5 years, you guys are just starting to be with me. Come on man, you guys should do something else with your life,” Travis said.
