President Joe Biden caused a stir because of his “fire” joke against Kamala Harris
Shade room Footage captured from President Joe Biden’s meeting with senior officials to address the federal response to the Palisades wildfire in California, per Fox News. While sharing the federal government’s plan for the ongoing crisis, Biden passed it on to VP Kamala Harris and accidentally made a pun about the fires in the process.
The clip shows Joe Biden saying, “And the Vice President, I know you’re directly affected, so [fire] distant.” He quickly checked himself and said: “No pun intended!” right after that. Kamala Harris gave him the funniest look with a smirk but only responded, “REALLY!”
Biden’s small mistake and what he called a “play on words” quickly attracted attention on social media, especially since VP Kamala Harris is from Oakland, California. Social network users couldn’t help but feel amused and laugh at Biden’s indifferent attitude after making his comments.
