Chris Brown has high hopes for Donald Trump’s presidency
Recently, The Shade Room came across a message shared by Chris Brown on his Instagram Stories before it was deleted. The ‘Sensational’ singer shares one of his hopes for Donald Trump as he prepares to officially take on the role of 47th President of the United States, with his inauguration set for January 20, 2025 .
Breezy added an eyes emoji and asked his Instagram followers and fans: “Does anyone hope Trump shuts down the IRS?” he added, “If he can do that……Put THAT PERSON ON a hundred dollar bill.”
Trump says he will generate ‘outside tax revenue’
While Donnie hasn’t said he would eliminate the tax, on Tuesday he announced plans to create a new government agency. According to APhe wanted to establish an Internal Revenue Service to collect taxes and other revenues from foreign countries.
“We will start charging people who make money from us with Trade and they will start paying,” Mr. Trump said Tuesday on his social media page Truth Social.
He compared his innovative plan to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). To do this, he will need an act of Congress and a Republican majority in both the House and Senate.
One thing Trump has made clear is his intention to shrink the size of government. However, his proposed new agency would carry out functions already performed by existing agencies. That means job cuts are likely for people working in agencies like the Commerce Department and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Mind you, Billionaire Elon Musk and fellow businessman Vivek Ramaswamy are leading Trump’s ambitious efforts to reduce the size and scope of the federal government. Note that tariffs have become a standard part of Trump’s economic agenda as he enters his second term.
