Marriott Bonvoy’s first U.S. apartments open near Orlando’s theme park

Marriott already has a strong presence in Orlandoso much so that TPG recently dubbed it The best hotel brands for theme park fans. Soon, Marriott will add another option for Bonvoy loyalists looking to stay in the theme park capital of the world, one designed specifically for extended stays or travelers who prefer apartment-style accommodation when they are away from home.

Villatel Orlando Resortscheduled to open in early 2025, will offer two distinct ways to stay: The Villas and the first Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy resort in the U.S. The Villas, with accommodations that can accommodate up to 26 guests, will opening March 3, 2025. The exact opening date for Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy has not yet been announced. Currently, it’s listed as “early 2025.”

Orlando’s Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy Resort will be the second location of its kind. The first store was opened San Juan, Puerto Rico, by the end of 2023. Villatel Orlando Resort’s Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy will have 256 apartments. Each two- or three-bedroom apartment can accommodate up to eight guests, and features spacious living areas, fully equipped kitchens, and private balconies overlooking the resort. Some apartments will also include games and themed bedrooms to further immerse you in the “bubble” of the theme park.

Marriott markets its Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy product as “hotel meets residential living.” Each luxury-style apartment is designed with spacious, sophisticated interiors inspired by the local surroundings. According to the Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy site, housekeeping is provided every seven days and all rooms have washers and dryers.
