Kylie Jenner opens up about her current friendship with Jordyn Woods
Based on Page SixJenner opened up about her friendship with Wood in the latest episode of ‘The Kardashians’.
The episode, released on Thursday, May 30, shows Jenner talking to sister Khloé Kardashian. During the conversation, Jenner mentioned meeting Woods while attending Paris Fashion Week.
“It was so much fun,” she said, recalling the experience. “I think we have a much healthier distance in our relationship. Now it’s like we talk once a month.”

As the conversation continued, Jenner explained that she was grateful the “story” of her and Woods’ friendship had changed.
“I think, what I love now is that our story online is over,” she continued. “When people saw us leaving that restaurant, it was a story that lasted a day, maybe two days, whatever, and now it’s over. Everyone knew we were cool and no one talked about it anymore.”

Brief summary of previous close friendships in recent years
Based on Page Six, Jenner and Woods encountered problems in their friendship after Woods was spotted kissing Tristan Thompson, Khloé Kardashian’s then-boyfriend, in 2019.
EQUAL Shade room previously reported, Jenner and Woods wouldn’t be spotted publicly together until July 2023. At the time, the pair went on a sushi dinner date in Los Angeles, California.
In November 2023, Jenner addressed her public outing with Woods while also revealing that they “never completely cut ties” despite Woods’ viral lip-locking incident with Thompson, per Shade room.
“Jordyn and I, we’ve always kept in touch over the years, we’d meet at my house and talk and talk about everything. We never completely cut ties with each other, and one day, naturally, we wanted to eat sushi and didn’t want to hide anymore,” she explained at the time.
In addition, Jenner also shared that the incident taught her a lesson.
“Everything has a lesson and I think, in a strange way, everything happens the way it’s supposed to happen,” she said. “We are so connected to each other that we need space to grow into who we are meant to be. I needed that independence and confidence because she was like my security blanket for so long.”
