Deal alert: Fly to Germany from the US for $259 round-trip
We’ve got more discounts on European fares to tell you — flights to Berlin from several U.S. cities are getting big discounts for travel this fall.
This sale includes departure cities such as Atlanta; Washington D.C.; Miami; and New York City. Most Scandinavian Airlines options involve layovers, but the Miami and New York City routes (with the low-cost carrier Nordic Atlantic Airlines) non-stop.
The travel window is August to February 2025. Prices fluctuated wildly during our search, but there were bargains to be had. This discount is for economy class tickets.
Scandinavian Airlines fares include free carry-on baggage. Norse Atlantic and Play Airlines allow one personal item when traveling in economy class. A carry-on bag costs between $45-$66 each way and a checked bag costs between $75 and $110 each way.

Norse Atlantic has direct flights from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) in early October for just $259 round-trip. That’s about half the price this route usually sells for. Don’t wait long to book this place.

The same route is available in September for $282 nonstop. We also saw this route at this price for December travel.
You can also fly nonstop from Miami International Airport (MIA) to Berlin in the fall for less than $300 round-trip on Norse Atlantic. You’ll notice this itinerary includes Thanksgiving. That means you can visit Berlin’s famous Christmas markets, which usually start in the last week of November.
Flights from Miami to Berlin in early 2025 are a bit more expensive, but $309 for a nonstop ticket is still a really good price for this route.
There are also some promotional fares from Atlanta to Germany. SAS has round-trip fares from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) to Berlin in early December for $487. That includes a transit in Copenhagen, with a 20-hour stop in the Danish capital on the return flight.
Unlike Norse Atlantic fares, SAS fares come with free carry-on baggage. According to Google Flights, this route typically costs more than a thousand dollars.
You can book tickets on Play Airlines from Dulles International Airport (IAD) near Washington, DC, to Berlin in early 2025 for $365 round-trip. This route has stops each way in Iceland and you will have to pay extra for hand luggage.
If you can travel in early September, you can book a round-trip ticket on the Norse Atlantic from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Berlin for just $432. That’s a big discount compared to the regular price for this route.
