G Gundam Gaiden begins release in July
A new text-based gaiden script for G Mobile Fighter will begin publishing on July 5, 2024. This is part of the celebration 30th anniversary of the program. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
News about this appeared from time to time Gundam Summer Conference 2024takes place on June 25, 2024. Gaiden’s name will be Mobile Fighter G Gundam: Tenchi Tengaku. Bandai Namco may or may not reveal the official English name for it later. There’s also a new key image showing Domon and Master Asia fighting side by side while what appears to be a new villain smirks at them.
Regarding gaiden’s plot, it will focus on the appearance of the Dark Shuffle, a mysterious group of 5 people, who appeared just before the finals of the 13th Gundunda War. For reference, the Battle of Gundunda The 13th was a match involving Gundomon Fight Domon and his friends throughout the show. Yasuhiro Imagawa, director of G mobile suitis the person who will pen this work.
G mobile suit aired from 1994 to 1995. It takes place in the Future Century. In this timeline, most humans have escaped to space colonies, although these space colonies are still separated by nationality. Every four years, this is the Gundunda War in which representatives fight until there is only one pilot left standing. The winner’s country can then dominate the world for the next four years. That’s one of the crazy things Gundam shown in the series.
