Concord Beta Launch Date Announced, Early Access Beta Launches July 12 – PlayStation.Blog
From the first game prototypes to preparing the game ahead of its August launch, playtesting Harmony every day is a defining aspect of our growth and core to our culture at Firewalk and our mission to bring greatness to a wide range of players. There is simply no substitute for using a controller or mouse and keyboard, forming a group, and experiencing the game for yourself.
That’s why we’re excited to share that your first chance to play Concord in our upcoming beta is just a few weeks away! Here’s everything you need to know:
Concord Beta Early Access (July 12-14) and Open Beta (July 18-21)
Concord Beta will begin with weekend early access on PS5 and PC* from Friday, July 12 to Sunday, July 14. For those who pre-orderThis early access weekend will be your chance to be one of the first to play Concord—and you’ll get to bring your own crew. People Pre-order any version of the Concord will receive five codes for Concord Beta Early Access: one for you and four of your friends.
After the Early Access weekend, the Concord Open Beta will be available to all players on PS5 and PC starting Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21.
No matter what platform you play on, Concord Beta Early Access and Open Beta will let you team up with friends on PS5 or PC through optional cross-play support.
Play the full 16 Freegunner squads
You won’t have to wait until launch to find your favorite Freegunner(s). During the Concord beta weekend, you’ll be able to play as all 16 Freegunners that will be available at launch. Whether you enjoy running and gunning, sealing off an area, shooting from afar, or supporting your team, there are Freegunners for players of many different play styles and skill levels.
From familiar faces like Haymar, Vale, Lennox, 1-0FF and Star Child in the trailer to other members of the Northstar group like It-Z, Teo, Bazz, etc., you will be tested and found understand how to do it. Each character brings unique strategic abilities, a sense of movement and gunplay, and above all, your own personality on the battlefield.
Explore (and fight on) multiple planets and modes
During the final two weeks of the Concord Beta, you’ll be able to visit and battle across various worlds and maps in Concord Galaxy.
During the Concord Beta Early Access weekend, you’ll have the chance to play on four maps:
Free water: Set in a fortified outpost on the sun-scorched planet of Glance, Freewater features intersecting lanes and a large courtyard in the center of the map that serves as the main gathering point and inspires intense skirmishes.
Flood risk: On the stormy planet Leviathan, a giant armored eel, called a Morack, has been captured and is being harvested on a large floating fishing platform. Players will fight on the platforms and in the jaws of Morack at a major harvest location.
Star Room: Perched atop the planet’s tallest mountain Gloom is an ancient observatory with narrow corridors and a meteorite in the center, creating excellent opportunities for team battles and one-on-one combat.
Risk of shock: Located beneath a giant conductive kite in the sky that collects lightning on the planet Leviathan, Shock Risk features multiple unique arenas to battle rival crews with paths converging at a central tower. big mind.
During the Open Beta weekend, a new world and fifth map will be introduced: The Bone Mine on planet Akkar.
Bone Mine: The remains of the giant vastadon on the tropical planet Akkar have become the site of a lucrative Guild mining operation, where you’ll fight through excavated skeletons and mined caverns. exploits in a combination of close and medium range combat.
Concord Beta will also have multiple modes to suit your mood, whether it’s jumping into a quick match after work or teaming up with friends for more cooperative and competitive play.
Concord Early Access Beta will launch this weekend with three modes:
Trophy Hunting: Respawn-based mode where you fight to take down rival crew members and collect their bonus cards to earn points for your team. The first team to reach the target score before time runs out wins the match.
Shipment: Zero respawn mode where teams compete to retrieve the Blue Buddy robotic package delivery system, place it in one of the zones, and defend it from the opposing team to win.
Point of conflict: A round-based, no-respawn game mode in which teams compete to control a single capture zone at a central location on the map.
Then, at the end of the Open Beta week, you’ll be able to try out the new mode: Zone Control.
Area Control: Respawn mode where teams compete to control multiple capture and control zones on the map. Control two or more zones to increase your team’s score and reach the score threshold to win.
Witness the Beginning of the Northstar Crew Story
Besides getting to know the Northstar crew through gameplay, you can also get to know the beginning of their story. When you play the beta, you’ll be greeted with our first shorts—shorts that, when Concord launches, will be available weekly in-game. When the Early Access Beta launches, and then when the Open Beta begins, we’ll be introducing new in-game cinematics to give you a glimpse of how the Northstar crew’s stories will play out. out every week.
