English and Japanese Voice Actors for Anime Uzumaki Shared
At Anime Expo 2024, we finally learned more about the future Uzumaki anime adaptation once again, with the latest reveal involving the English and Japanese voice actors for a handful of characters. That brings the total number of known cast members to eight, considering that we already know Junji Ito fleeting appearance.

- Katayama: Katsutoshi Matsuzaki
- Kirie Goshima: Uki Satake
- Kirie’s father: Toshio Furukawa
- Shuichi Saito: Shinichiro Miki
- Shuichi’s father: Takashi Matsuyama
- Shuichi’s mother: Mika Doi

This is official Uzumaki The announcement of the anime’s voice actors appeared on social media. The announcement included images of Kirie, Shuichi, and Azami in the show.
Before this reveal, we got to hear the Japanese voice actors for both Kirie and Shuichi. They appeared in the “first look” trailer for the show that appeared at San Diego Comic Con 2023.
While we know the cast, we still don’t have a release date for the Production I.G. show. It’s been delayed multiple times since its original supposed 2020 premiere. Most recently, a Japan Times interview with Junji Ito in June 2024 suggested that the show would be coming to Cartoon Network in 2024.
The Uzumaki The anime will apparently air on Cartoon Network’s Toonami block in 2024 and Viz Media in charge of manga outside Japan.
