Bō: Path Of The Teal Lotus Reveals Xenoblade Chronicles Composer’s Contributions
Beautifully hand drawn Metroidvania Bō: The Path of the Blue Lotus is just days away from launch. And to help build excitement, producer Robert Sephazon has revealed a guest musician who has contributed music to the game.
Share the news on KickstarterSephazon has announced that Xenoblade Chronicles Musician Manami Kiyota has composed two unique tracks from the game. One of these songs, Gashadokuro Boss Theme, is currently previewed on YouTube,
Kiyota began his video game music career in PokéPark Wii: Pikachu’s Adventurebefore going on to create every Xenoblade game (except X), from the original Wii game to Xenoblade Chronicles 3She has composed a large number of overworld and settlement themes for large role-playing games. Her most famous pieces include Satorl Marsh/Night, Eryth Sea, Spirit Crucible Elpys, Auresco, Royal Capital and Great Cotte Falls.
And Kiyota shared her excitement about working with Squid Shock Studios on Twittershared that the song has a “rich Japanese flavor!” You can listen to the song below:
Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus was first announced to the world via Kickstarter in 2022. The Kickstarter goal was met fairly quickly, and then that summer, Squid Shock revealed that some of the names who worked on AM2R would be joining the team to help.
It’s been a long wait, but on July 18th we can finally get our hands on this beautiful title.
