Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising Gets Vikala and Sandalphon DLC
At Evo 2024, Cygames announced Vikala and Sandalphon DLC for Granblue Fantasy vs Rising next to Confrontation release date. The rollout of new characters will begin on August 20, 2024, which is also when Versusia and update 1.50 will arrive.
First, Versusia is one of at least eight confirmed additions to the Granblue Fantasy vs Rising in 1.50. She will cost $7.99 when purchased separately. The first minute or so of the Evo 2024 trailer is dedicated to showing off her gameplay footage.
The announcement trailer then went into a lot of what we can expect in update 1.50. You can see a list of what’s coming to the game on August 20, 2024 below:
- Grand Master Level
- Adjust the main character and battle
- New Battle Card
- New Grand Bruise Game Mode
- New online lobby minigame
- New phase
- New story update called “When Tomorrow Comes”
- DLC Versusia
At 2:27, the future Granblue Fantasy vs Rising DLC characters Vikala and Sandalphon have appeared. Vikala, one of the Twelve Divine Generals and the guardian deity of the North, will be the final addition to Character Pass 1. She’s a magical girl, as she’s a human who happens to be part of the party. As for Sandalphon, it looks like the Fifth Primarch will be leading Character Pass Part 2. He was the one who appeared when that trailer came out.
