Like A Dragon: Yakuza on Prime Teaser Trailer Revealed
Prime Video has release a new trailer for Like a Dragon: YakuzaThe first live-action adaptation of Yakuza (Like a dragon) game. The trailer is available on the video streaming service’s official YouTube channel.

The show opens with Kiryu getting the iconic tattoo on his back. The visuals and animation feel like this is something you’ll see every episode as part of the opening. This is intercut with scenes of gang violence in Kamurocho, with scenes of vibrant nightlife, fights, and yakuza walking around.

Yokoyama said he was concerned that the live-action adaptation would be nothing more than a carbon copy of the original game. He said he wanted viewers to see it as if it were their first time experiencing it. Yakuza story. However, his conversations with director Masaharu Take put these fears to rest, and he trusted Take to produce something interesting. In fact, after watching it, he felt jealous of how the cast and crew created something new from a premise that RGG Studio had come up with 20 years ago. His hands even shook as he smoked a cigarette afterward. But there was still a lot of respect for the original story in many aspects of the show. Yokoyama stated that both newcomers and veterans of the series could enjoy the story.
Amazon Prime was first announced Like a Dragon: Yakuza IN June 2024. Ryoma Takeuchi will start as Kiryu Kazuma, the protagonist of Yakuza series. There will be six seasons in total, with the first half premiering on October 25, 2024. The second half of the show will begin streaming on November 1, 2024. The series will take place between 1995 and 2005, covering various stages in Kiryu’s life, and the new key visual reflects that.
Like a Dragon: Yakuza will appear exclusively on Prime Video from October 25, 2024.
