Aniplex Introduces NieR: Automata Chibi Characters 2B, 9S, A2
As part of the announcement of Wonder Festival Summer 2024, Aniplex disclosure new chibi collection NieR: Automata 2B, 9S, A2, and a Machine Lifeform. All four appeared as unpainted prototypes on display at the event.
Here’s the official announcement. In the foreground, we can see A2, Machine Lifeform, 9S, and 2B from left to right. Behind them is a concept sketch of the characters standing in a ruined city. The sketch is in color, which gives an idea of what the characters will eventually look like. Both 2B and 9S will appear without their visors in these images, so you can see their eyes.
This is not the only chibi version of NieR: Automata The character appears in visual form. Sega has also announced two The Little Melties of 2B and 9S. They are designed to make the two YoRHa members look like they are melting like ice cream. There are also some the actual number Characters like 2B are in development and are expected to debut in late 2025.
What is Aniplex? NieR: Automata The characters 2B, 9S, A2, and Machine Lifeform are in development. The anime is streaming on Crunchyroll. The game is available on PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
