Box Art Brawl: Duel – Castlevania: Dawn Of Sorrow

North America / Japan
There’s no mistaking the anime visual twist on this cover, is there? Our protagonist, Soma Cruz, is front and center, surrounded by a group of characters you’ll meet in the game. That “everyone’s here” approach doesn’t go unnoticed. much There’s room for background detail, but we can still tick the ‘spooky castle’, ‘full moon’, and ‘bats’ boxes.
Europe
If there was any doubt about Dawn of Sorrow’s protagonist from the North American/Japanese design, the European version should clear it up. The Castlevania suit has been cut here, leaving Cruz alone to draw our attention and add a bit of prestige to the spooky surroundings. It’s definitely more stripped down, but still eye-catching.
