2005 sexual assault case reportedly dismissed

According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, The motion to dismiss was filed on Thursday, August 8. The motion was reportedly approved by Judge Sherilyn Peace Garnett in the U.S. District Court for the District of California.

“The court agrees with Tip and Tameka that Jane Doe does not appear to have any viable claims. As Tip and Tameka stated three years ago, these allegations are one of many false, salacious allegations made in the media in a cheap attempt to extort them,” a representative for the couple reportedly told the outlet.

The lawsuit was reportedly “dismissed without prejudice,” the source added. Shouse Law Group CaliforniaThis means that the case “is dismissed but can still be refiled at a later date.”

Here’s what the lawsuit alleges the couple did

EQUAL Shade room As previously reported, a plaintiff named Jane Doe filed a lawsuit against the couple. Doe alleges the couple sexually assaulted her “in or around 2005.”

At the time of the alleged incident, Doe was reportedly enlisted in the United States Air Force. She further alleges that she met the couple at a nightclub one evening. Doe alleges that she accepted a drink from Harris and then left the club with the couple and two unidentified women.

That evening, they allegedly went to a hotel where the two women were ordered to leave. There, she said she stripped with the couple, they showered together and she was ordered to lie on the bed.

Doe eventually alleged that Tiny rubbed his naked body against hers. She also alleged that TI penetrated her with his toes. She also allegedly passed out and was awakened the next day to “severe pain,” itching, and throbbing in her vagina.

Furthermore, as Shade room As previously reported, TI and Tiny responded to the lawsuit through an exclusive statement shared with TMZ.

“After the positive, the negative always comes. This plaintiff has been threatening to file this lawsuit for THREE years. For THREE years, we have firmly and categorically denied these allegations,” they stated. “For THREE years, we have maintained our innocence and refused to pay these outrageous claims for things we did not do. For THREE years, we have remained the same while the claims in this story have changed constantly. Our position is clear… We are innocent of these bogus claims, we will not be swayed, and we look forward to our day in court.”

According to EVERYBODYTI and Tiny formally filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit in July. The couple reportedly wants the lawsuit dismissed “in its entirety, with prejudice.” Additionally, the couple reportedly claims that Doe “failed to[ed] to present the facts” to prove his claim.
