Siliconera Speaks: The Best Anime Villain Ever
Even though I wanted to name this meme Oikawa, I have to say I really like Kira/Light’s Death Note for the exact same reasons I like Walter from Evil. He’s not as charismatic or smart as he thinks he is, nor as moral as he claims to be. Everything he does to make something “better” for himself only makes things worse for those around him, but at least Walter admits it. I really like how, like with Walter, there are people who genuinely don’t seem to realize that you’re not supposed to support the Light. The only thing I wish for with Death Note Madhouse gave him the same death as in the anime: crying and writhing in his own blood like a worm. — Stephanie
“It’s me, Dio!” Obviously I have to choose Dio Brando. LOOK at how much trouble he has caused to the Joestar family and this world! Even if he wasn’t Dio Brando but Diego Brando, he would still be invincible! He has overwhelming charisma and energy, plus he’s easy to hate. I really like him as a villain! — Jenni
Johan Liebert from Monster Truly the most haunting anime villain I’ve ever seen in a series. The way this series starts and the moral questions that Johan’s existence brings up from the start is tragic and unparalleled. This guy is unlike any other anime villain, an emotionless and disturbing genius from start to finish. Don’t miss this unforgettable villain, even if the animation is starting to show its age a little. For the second place, I have to give it to Makoto School day. This guy constantly outdoes himself in every episode as the most annoying anime protagonist/villain of all time. — Cody
