Kamala Harris, Gretchen Whitmer, Adam Kinzinger
Vice President Kamala Harris will deliver her much-anticipated keynote speech on Thursday to close out the final night of the Democratic National Convention.
Wednesday night features a variety of Democracy lawmakers, governors and performers to pump up the crowd ahead of Harris’ speech.
Among the speakers are Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper, both of whom were Harris’ vice presidential nominees. The Chicks and Pink will perform.
Former Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois is also scheduled to speak. In 2021, Kinzinger was one of 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach President Donald Trump for his role in the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. Kinzinger has decided not to run for reelection in 2022.
Ahead of tonight’s show, speculation and social media buzz has been building around a possible surprise guest appearance, along with Oprahshowed up unannounced on Wednesday.
