The government has released footage from by DaniLeigh Arrested in 2023. Shade Room reported that in May 2023, police arrested the R&B singer in Florida for DUI.

The Academy has obtained police body camera footage revealing what really happened the night police arrested DaniLeigh.

In one clip, the ‘Easy’ singer cries as police handcuff her, insisting she didn’t hit anyone. However, police tell her she caused the accident and have video evidence. Police then discover a bottle of 1942 Don Julio in her car.

In another part of the video, Dani sits on the sidewalk like a former Migos rapper Quavo and a friend came to check on her. Dani pleaded with the police, saying that she was a celebrity and could not be implicated in crime. The police then realized she was a singer.

TMZ Miami Beach police arrested DaniLeigh just hours after Memorial Day 2023, according to reports. The musician allegedly hit a motorist and dragged her scooter for a block before police stopped her.

According to TSR, Dani failed a field sobriety test and allegedly blew a 0.148, well above the legal limit of 0.8%. Authorities took her into custody and charged her with three felonies — driving under the influence, causing property damage/person damage while driving, and leaving the scene of an accident causing serious injury.

Authorities revealed that the motorcyclist received medical treatment and was diagnosed with a lacerated kidney and a fractured spine.

As mentioned earlier by Daily mailAuthorities detained the ‘Put U On’ artist at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, but she was released after posting $9,500 bail.

DaniLeigh, whose real name is Danielle Leigh Curiel, was given a five-year suspended sentence in February, The Shade Room reported. Her probation was supposed to begin on February 1 and end on January 31, 2029.
