New Uzumaki Trailer Focuses on the Horror of the Spirals
Adult swimming has uploaded a new trailer for Uzumakifocuses on the titular cursed spirals of Kuruozu-cho. The show will premiere on September 28, 2024.

It is shorter first trailer appeared at San Diego Comic Con 2023, where more information about the story was revealed. This new trailer focuses on the horrific extent of the vortexes that are infecting, killing, and driving the unfortunate citizens of Kurouzu-cho insane. Main characters like Kirie and Shuichi also appear in the trailer. If you’re in the US, you can watch Uzumaki on Toonami and will begin streaming the following day on Max.
Uzumaki Junji Ito’s manga was originally published from 1998 to 1999. Manga anthologies have appeared since then from various publishers. The story follows Kurouzu-cho, the victim of a spiral-related curse. English critics have been very positive about it, and it was even nominated for an Eisner Award in 2003. The Japanese also enjoyed the manga. Even in the 2020s, there are still pop-up shops, merchandise and collaborations with the series.
Uzumaki will premiere in Japan on September 28, 2024 on Toonami.
