We were a little surprised, given how big the independent farm feels. Stardew Valley is, there is no official Lego set. But this set probably won the award this year BrickCon in Bellevue, Washington will convince the wizards at Lego to hire the man who created this 75,000-piece structure (thanks, IGN And PC Gamer!).

Brick-building enthusiast and Stardew Valley fan Steven Jensen has been working on his Pelican Valley build for nearly two years. On Stardew Valley ForumJensen went into detail back in September 2023, when he talked about the sets he used for each part.

Okay, we’re a little late to this party (BrickCon is September 7-8), but man, what an awesome build, right? Jensen’s Reconstruction all The base map in Stardew Valley is 1:1 accurate to our eyes. The street vendor is there; the ice cream stand sits proudly next to the museum; the vines on the Community Center cover the ruined building; even the Wizard’s Tower is present.

One important thing to note, from Jensen InstagramIt took “a bit of artistic creativity” to recreate many of the game’s elements. First, Jensen had to “create invisible gameplay elements” like the sides and backs of buildings, as well as “converge” map spaces together. He also incorporated various elements and events from different moments, characters, and seasons into the build. Ultimately, the map is based on the base version of the game that Jensen has on his Switch.

Well, it’s clear that a lot of love went into the build. It’s perfect—so perfect that Jensen won the “People’s Choice” award at the convention. Oh, and not only that—Stardew creator Eric Barone, aka ConcernedApe, came to the show to admire the build.

“While People’s Choice is big news, this is even BIGGER NEWS!” Jensen wrote on Instagram. “It’s okay if you don’t recognize him… Neither did I. And yes, I had a brief fan moment when Concerned Ape introduced himself!!! Of course, I took him ‘backstage’ for a closer look (… and this pic)!!”

We love your shirt too, Jensen! And congratulations on your award! And meet ConcernedApe. He deserves to win in our eyes, and not just because he made the krobus model! Along with all the other villagers.)

Beyond the Brick originally shared a video of the build on TikTokbut now there is a more detailed video about it. YouTube highlight all parts of the map and you can see all the changes in elevation, characters and even crops on the farm. You can see at the top of the article.

So, what’s next? Calico Desert? Ginger Island. We’ll have to wait and see. In the meantime, you can follow Steve Jensen on Instagram to get a better look at every aspect of the build.
