A new hotel in Texas will be ‘super-suitable’ for travelers with every need
As someone who frequently travels with a loved one in a wheelchair, I can tell you firsthand how frustrating hotel stays can be. Morgan’s WonderlandA San Antonio theme park created to provide a place for disabled and non-disabled visitors to enjoy themselves is opening a new hotel designed specifically for accessibility needs. The hotel will have staff dedicated to assisting people with disabilities and trained in disability etiquette, provide special accommodations for those with specific hearing, vision, and physical needs, and even cater to the aging population.
“This is definitely going to be a hotel for everyone, including those with special needs, who will feel more included, valued and fulfilled in the future,” said Gordon Hartman, founder of the theme park, which is named after and inspired by his daughter and is scheduled to open in 2026.
And to make the hotel even more appealing, it seems like Hilton, Hyatt, and Marriott are all vying to get their names on the hotel, meaning that when the Morgan Hotel opens, points and miles enthusiasts will have an incredibly convenient hotel to earn or use points at.
