Aer Lingus announces new Nashville-Dublin flights
Music City and the Emerald Isle suddenly feel a lot closer.
Aer Lingus will launch a new route from Dublin Airport (DUB) to Nashville International Airport (BNA), the airline and BNA announced on Friday. Service begins April 12, 2025, with four weekly flights in each direction.
Flight EI76 will depart Nashville at 6:40 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, arriving in Dublin at 8:50 a.m. the following morning. The westbound flight, EI77, will depart Dublin at 2:05 p.m. and arrive in Nashville at 2:05 p.m. 5:10, also on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. All route times are local.
Ireland’s national airline plans to operate its newest aircraft, the Airbus A321XLR, on this route. The A321XLR is the longest-range version of the A320neo line and was only certified by European aviation authorities this summer. Airbus is aiming to make the first deliveries of the new jet to customers in the second half of October.
Although Aer Lingus was originally intended to be the launch customer for the jet, the first deliveries were delivered to sister airline Iberia by International Airlines Group, the airline’s parent group. no hey. Iberia plans to launch jet aircraft between Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport (MAD) and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) as early as November 14, although, at the time of that announcement, aircraft deliveries were scheduled for several months. the previous week before being delayed to mid or late October.
Aer Lingus has not yet released a seating plan for the A321XLR, although it will likely resemble the slightly shorter-range A321LR the airline currently flies. These jets feature 16 lie-flat business class seats in staggered 2-2 and 1-1 configurations, along with 168 economy class seats arranged in a standard 3-3 configuration. The new flights are being sold on the Aer Lingus website, although they are shown as being operated by the generic A321neo which has an identical seat plan to the A321LR.

The flight – pegged at 3,905 miles, according to Great Circle Mapper – it will take about eight hours and 10 minutes en route to Dublin and nine hours and five minutes westbound to Nashville.
Introductory fares for travel anytime from April 12 to May 31, 2025 are available on the new route for as low as $499 round-trip. You must book your flight by 7pm EDT on October 31, 2024 to receive the promotional fare, so act fast if you want to take a trip from the country music capital to Dublin or beyond .
