History was made on Wednesday, as South African cricketer Tabraiz Shamsi celebrated his team’s win over Afghanistan to reach the T20 World Cup final for the first time.

In Kenya, police and protesters clashed as young people took to the streets of Nairobi to protest against a finance bill introduced by President William Ruto that would increase taxes.
