Air France launches service to Orlando in 2025
Next spring, Air France will return to Central Florida for the first time in more than a decade. This week, the airline announced plans to launch direct flight service from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport (CDG) to Orlando International Airport (MCO). It will link the house of Disneyland Paris with that Walt Disney World.
The service will begin on May 21, 2025 – just days before Memorial Day weekend in the US and the unofficial kickoff to the peak summer travel season.
The addition of Orlando will give Air France a total of 18 destinations in the US and 25 destinations in North America.
The airline will not be new to Orlando as it most recently flew the route from Paris in 2012.
Kevin Thibault, CEO of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, said: “We are delighted to welcome Air France back to Orlando, enhancing our city’s appeal as an international destination and connecting our region to one of Europe’s most iconic cities.” .
To Thibault’s point, Air France is seeing growth in flight traffic beyond its domestic U.S. routes. According to data from aviation analytics firm Cirium, in 2024, the total number of airline seats to Orlando from international cities increased by about 13% compared to 2019. However, flight traffic from Asia Europe remains below pre-coronavirus levels.
