Aka Akasaka planned to end Oshi no Ko from the beginning
in one interview from Shueisha, mangaka Aka Akasaka said that he had planned the ending for Oshi no Ko from the start of serialization. Unfortunately, fans weren’t too thrilled about how the hit manga ended.
Akasaka said that while he had thought of the ending for Oshi no Ko when he starts drawing, he also “allows” the characters to breathe. He said that his experience of Love is war changed him. Instead of planning everythingHe occasionally changes the story to incorporate new subplots or make certain characters more important. Akasaka considers these unexpected changes to be part of the character’s personality, and he wants to become an author who can love and appreciate that.
