Akbar V on Being Loyal to Someone with Secret Hatred


Akbar V left people wondering what tea was after she talked about learning to mind her own business the “hard way.” The rapper opened up about that topic and loyalty to other women in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

It is unclear what prompted Akbar to address both topics, but she share her warning for others on Tuesday (September 3).

“You actually follow someone and deep down they don’t even like you…SMH…this loyalty is fucked in me and a lot of these bchs don’t have any loyalty in them.”

In the same post, V told her followers to “stop interfering” in other people’s affairs without “know the whole story or know if the person really cares about you.” She added, “I had to learn that the hard way.”

Less than a day before sending the heartfelt message, Akbar V hinted that she had discovered someone’s true feelings for her. “You never know what anyone really thinks of you until your best friend tells you… shaking his head,” she wrote

Akbar V Denies Replacing Nicki Minaj With Loyalty Message

V has not shared details about who or what situation prompted her to speak out on these topics. However, she is known on X in come to get the neck specifically after Nicki Minaj. A fact that at least one X user pointed out in response to her loyal message.

“Telling people to stop meddling when that’s all you do for Nicki and she pays you DUST is crazy,” @BrielleThatGirl wrote.

For example, V had harsh words for Latto on X last month after she didn’t call Nicki Minaj her greatest female rapper of all time (GOAT).

“Don’t say Kim is the Goat of all time because no one took that away from her @NICKIMINAJ… give that damn girl flowers when they’re due, you two don’t have to have sex but keep it that way.”

As previously reported, Latto and Nicki have been at odds in public since exchange of harsh insults on Twitter in October 2022. However, in April, the ‘Suger Honey Iced Tea’ rapper Looks like Minaj’s name in her top three female rappers.

After V’s tweet caused a stir, Akbar returned to the same platform to clarify a few things. First, she warned her followers that she wasn’t afraid to call out whoever she was talking about and shared words for those who said she was being dramatic.

She also shared that no female rapper can be “real friends” because the industry is competitive. She also said that consumers often pit female artists against each other. “There’s no such thing as this, man, wake up,” V wrote.

Finally, she addressed those who suggested her loyal message might be about Nicki Minaj. “First time I said some people call Nicki like Chile why are you guys on her chest,” Super Freaky Girl Remix contributor wrote.

“I am in real life, I talk a lot about my real life, don’t try to make it sound like it’s about someone else… you know, I have also interfered with my friends’ business. I am just loyal so shut up… and my loyalty has kept me from a lot of opportunities… but this time I chose myself… keep my mouth shut… my heart is full,” Akbar added.

In addition to Nicki, Akbar V also drew fire from August Alsina last month when she seemingly criticized the singer for mentioning God while explaining his relationship with Zu.
