All three Atelier Ryza games get optimization updates, here are the full patch notes
To celebrate Ryza Factorycelebrating its fifth anniversary, Koei Tecmo today released optimization updates for all three games in the series. Yes, that means Ever Darkness & Secret Hideout, Lost legend and mysterious fairy And The Alchemist of the End & The Secret Key — catchy little titles, right? — all have some improvements.
The updates are typically a series of small tweaks for each game, although there are a few highlights to be noted: the first game’s patch finally added autosave, while the second and third games both got ‘Very Easy’ modes in their updates. Each title has also had a number of fast-forward options and other small tweaks.

Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout version 1.0.9 (September 20, 2024)
- Added autosave feature.
- Added option to fast forward Fatal Drive.
- Added option to fast forward event scenes.
- Added option to autoplay text in event scenes.
- Added graphics settings to Options menu.
- Changed keyboard and mouse controls on Steam® version.
- Make some other minor adjustments.
Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy ver. 1.0.8 (September 20, 2024)
- Added “Very Easy” difficulty.
- Added option to fast forward Fatal Drive.
- Added option to fast forward event scenes.
- Adjust the autoplay speed of text in event scenes.
- Added graphics settings to Options menu.
- Changed keyboard and mouse controls on Steam® version.
- Make some other minor adjustments.
Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key version 1.7.0 (September 20, 2024)
- Added “Very Easy” difficulty.
- Added option to fast forward Fatal Drive.
- Added a new landmark: Kala’s Hut. Note: Kala’s Hut will be added as a landmark after visiting after this update is applied.
- Changed the requirement to complete Klaudia’s “Three Medicines” character quest.
- Some other minor tweaks and bug fixes.
