With the announcement of a quicken arrive American Express® Gold Card There have been some changes (not all of them bad) to one of our favorite premium cards, with new statement credits coming with an increased annual fee.

The most time-sensitive of these changes comes in the form of new annual credits at Resy and Dunkin’, which are worth up to $184 in total annual value—but both require cardholders to apply to take advantage.

Read on to learn about these new credits and how you can apply to use them.

Registration required to receive new Amex Gold Resy and Dunkin’ benefits

Amex Gold cardholders can now earn up to $100 in annual Resy credits (split into two $50 bi-annual credits) and up to $84 in annual Dunkin’ credits (split into a dozen $7 monthly credits).

POINT BOY

However, both benefits require registration. Amex says it can take up to 24 hours for these benefits to take effect, so the sooner you register, the better for your wallet.

These new perks join two other existing statement credits on Amex Gold: up to $120 in annual Uber Cash and up to $10 in monthly dining statement credits at participating partners (requires enrollment). You must download the latest version of the Uber app, and your eligible American Express Gold Card must be the payment method on your Uber account, valid for purchases in the United States.

Last line

If you’re an Amex Gold cardholder who’s also a Resy user or a Dunkin’ frequent flyer, you’ll definitely want to make sure you sign up for these new perks to take advantage of them as soon as possible.

Otherwise, you’ll find yourself paying a larger annual fee (see prices and fees) without any new benefits included — never a great place to own a card.
