Anycolor’s financial results show a large decline for Nijisanji EN
In a new financial report from Any color, we can see that compared to the same period last year, revenue from Nijisanji EN is decreasing. Anycolor has also compiled a report on what it plans to do to increase these numbers again.
First, in fiscal year 2023/4, Nijisanji EN earned 1506 USD from live streaming and 4396 USD from commerce. Going live could mean they earn money from Superchat and the like. Trade is related to goods. However, in fiscal year 2024/4, Nijisanji EN earned 1226 USD from live streaming and 2911 USD from commerce. For comparison, Nijisanji JP earned $3,381 from live streaming last year and $9,817 from commerce. They actually had growth this year, earning $3,666 from streams and $15,991 from commerce.
Almost policy from Anycolor when it comes to enhancing growth, focus on Nijisanji in general. The company plans to strengthen its business foundation by hiring more people in management and planning, as well as increasing the number of VTubers, with an average increase of about 10-15% per year through new launches . This also includes strengthening VTA initiatives and hiring more unique VTubers in previously unexplored content areas. The new hires will work as talent managers, illustrators, 3D modelers and studio engineers. So, Anycolor not only plans to attract more VTubers, but also plans to provide them with resources so they can create better content.
The decline in viewership and merchandise sales in Njisanji EN may still be related to what happened to Selen Tatsuki earlier this year. Selen had to take medical leave at the end of 2023 and left hospital in early 2024. During this time, her channel had some trouble. Removed any colors “Last cup of coffee”from her channel.
