On Monday, September 16, TMZ released an exclusive report citing sources saying Diddy has been arrested in federal custody.
According to sources, the Department of Homeland Security has entered a downtown New York hotel where Diddy is staying. Authorities are currently searching his hotel room. Meanwhile, the 54-year-old music mogul is reportedly being held at the FBI office.
Furthermore, the news agency reported that the music mogul’s arrest was made in connection with an ongoing sex trafficking investigation. Additionally, TMZ noted that “other criminal acts” also contributed to the current development.
A grand jury heard from witnesses about Diddy’s alleged actions, according to the source. Diddy’s arrest is now believed to be his formal indictment.
Meanwhile, Marc Agnifilo, the lawyer representing the music mogul, issued a statement.

Here’s What Happened to Diddy Lately
