Award-winning detective game ‘No case should remain unsolved’ launches on Switch next week

Publisher PLAYISM has announced that the text-based mystery game There are no cases yet to be resolved. will land on the Switch eShop on September 19.

If Emio If a year of creepy mysteries isn’t enough to satisfy you, then this one might be just the thing for you. No Case Should Remain Unsolved puts you in the shoes of retired senior inspector Jeon Gyeong, a detective who is called back to investigate a missing persons case, 12 years after the mystery remains unsolved.

Developed by Korean indie studio Somi, you’ll navigate through the usual text-based antics of the genre, interviewing suspects to figure out who’s telling the truth and who’s feeding you pork. There’s also a fun-sounding puzzle mechanic where you piece together memories to make sense of the setting.

It all sounds pretty creepy, certainly benefiting from the monochrome pixel art visuals, but it was well received when it launched on Steam earlier this year, won awards from BitSummit Drift (Outstanding Game Design), BIC Festival (Outstanding Social Impact and Jury Prize), and A MAZE.

Here is a summary of the game’s features and some screenshots:

– Experience an imaginative reasoning system where players connect memories like pieces of a puzzle.
– Discover codes, keys, 54 conversations and two hidden truths.
– During the 2-3 hour gameplay, players will understand why Seowon’s disappearance is the only case that Jeon Gyeong has not solved.
– Also features an original soundtrack by Seongyi Yi, the composer of Legal Dungeon and The Wake!

No cases that remain unresolved will be available from eShop Conversion next week for £8.99 / $9.99There’s currently a special 10% pre-launch discount on all pre-orders, so you can save some money if you think this little mystery is your thing.
