BBC sees crowds surge following rumors of executions of Assad’s henchmen


Decades of Assad family rule ended this weekend after the ouster of President Bashar al-Assad.

But as the BBC’s Jeremy Bowen explains, there are now demands for revenge from Syrians, with some calling for the public execution of those who served the Assad regime.
