Bernice King criticizes sexy red because of her father’s fake photo
Roommates, it seems Sexy red is in the hot seat with the King family. On Monday (January 20), rapper shared an AI-generated photo Martin Luther King Jr. on her social media to celebrate his holiday. Good, King Bernice has made it clear that she’s not feeling the chosen image of sexyy!
Not only did she call her out on social media on January 21, but the activist’s daughter also asked the rapper to delete the fake photo.
“This is a deliberately offensive, disgraceful, reprehensible and disrespectful act to my family and to my father, who is not here to answer because he was assassinated for his humanitarian activities. civil rights and ending war and poverty. Delete it,” Bernice King wrote on X (officially Twitter).
As mentioned, the photo of sexyy Red and Martin Luther King Jr. is a product of AI. It shows Martin holding hands sexyy as they look at each other. It’s unclear whether the post includes a caption or not because as of Tuesday night, it appeared the female rapper had deleted the photo from her X account. Swipe below to view images.
That wasn’t the only sexy photo shared that featured Dr. King. She also posted another AI-generated image showing her standing near Martin Luther King Jr. in a mock protest. Her caption said, “Happy MLK Day!!” That post remains on the X-file.

Bernice King clarifies her comments about red being sexy
More than an hour after her initial post, Bernice King returned to see trolls filming her words. She made it clear that her call was not a personal attack. Instead, she explained that the AI-generated image of her father and similar images confused her.
“Please don’t impose your thoughts on me. I do not believe that Sexyy Red is a ‘degenerate’, ‘ghetto’ or ‘trash’. I have spoken out in the past about using and comparing my parents to defame others. I just don’t understand how to use my father’s image (on #MLKDay, no less) in a way that fails to convey what we know to be true about his service and sacrifice. Even if you don’t agree with him or with his tactics or even believe the things being said about him by people who hate him, why do this?

Despite seemingly removing the photo at Bernice King’s request, Sexyy Red has yet to comment on the call. Instead, she continued to post on X and other social platforms as usual and even responded to a special request from Bruno Mars!
