Bill Maher Tells Hawk Tuah Girl He Thinks Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Will Break Up
Bill Maher doesn’t believe that “Tayvis” will last long in this world. On his podcast, Random ClubComedian predicts the end of pop phenomenon Taylor Swift and Super Bowl winning football star Travis Kelceher relationship, saying bluntly, “He’s going to dump her.”

While some football fans certainly shared Maher’s frustration with Swift’s presence at Kelce’s NFL gamesWelch doesn’t seem to mind Swift or her relationship. “Whatever makes her happy,” Welch said. “If that’s what she wants to do and that makes her happy, that’s none of my business.”
Though Welch tactfully told Maher to mind his own business, the comedian then went deeper into Swift and Kelce’s relationship—predicting not only that it would end, but that Kelce would be the one to end it. “He’s going to dump her, you know that?” Maher said. “With her, it’s like Gatorade at the Super Bowl, you know you’re going to get dumped. You just don’t know when.”
A longtime Swift fan, Welch tried to put a positive spin on Maher’s negative comments, reflecting on the potential upside of Swift’s split: new music. For example, she cited Swift’s song “Dear John,” which is said to be about the singer’s relationship with John Mayer. “You have to think about it this way. If he did that, can you imagine the next album we would make? It wouldn’t be ‘fuck John Mayer,’ it would be ‘fuck Travis,'” Welch said.
Swift and Kelce have been on good terms since they began dating in July 2023. In the year since, Kelce has won Super Bowl LVIII with the Kansas City Chiefs, while Swift has won her fourth Grammy for album of the year for her 2022 album. Midnight.
