Bandai Namco Announces That the Service Will End Green Protocol in Japan and Amazon also confirmed that the worldwide release has been canceled due to the shutdown. The Japanese version will remain active until January 18, 2025.

Bandai Namco Online announced that they have made the difficult decision to end the service on Green Protocol. They will close Japan Green Protocol servers in January 2025 and has ended plans to release the game in the West in partnership with Amazon Games.

In a statement announcing the end of the service, Bandai Namco Online said, “We have had a strong relationship with Amazon Games throughout the development of Green Protocoland both of our teams are disappointed that we cannot deliver the game to players worldwide.”

Prior to the closure announcement, Bandai Namco regularly added new content to the Green Protocol. In June 2024, Chapter 6 is out now!. We also saw new classes appear after launch. One is Beat music performerand another one is Blitz Lancer.

We had some idea that there was a problem with Green Protocol prior to this latest announcement. In February 2024, a Report by Bandai Namco consider it to be inefficient.
