Box Art Brawl: Crash Nitro Kart (GameCube)

Be sure to cast your vote in the poll below; But first, let’s take a look at the box art designs.

Europe

We’ll start things off with the European variant. The design shows Crash, Neo Cortex, and Nitrous Oxide speeding past a checkered flag with the game’s flaming logo in the top left corner. It’s not the most exciting thing to watch but it will certainly tell you everything you need to know about the game.

North America

The North American design uses the same character sprites as the European version, but the trio are now racing through a desert landscape. There are some tweaks to Crash and his kart, and the inclusion of a giant clock in the background, but the change of scenery is the big draw here.

Japan

Well, this is a bit of a ‘graphic design is my passion’ bit. The Japanese design puts Crash and Neo Cortex front and center, but the models are a bit more… shall we say, exact game? The giant clock still looms in the background, but we can’t seem to take our eyes off Crash’s cold, dead eyes.
