Box Art Brawl – Duel: Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (3DS)

Europe/North America

Big monster. Big hero. Large armor. Cute little guys. Looks like you ticked all the Monster Hunter boxes nicely, right? The wide-open vistas in the background may be a mainstay of the series, but it adds to the epic nature of the entire film. Overall, it’s a pretty solid cover, if not a little bland.

Japan

The Japanese variant goes dark. Covered by the 3DS side stripe on the back, this cover has all the hallmarks of the aforementioned design but takes the setting to a gloomy cave. Our massive creature now threatens the hero, with eye-catching neon green slime flying everywhere. It may not be as clear what’s going on as the EU/NA variant, but there’s a certain dynamic here that we can’t help but like.
