Europe/North America
European and North American designs are actually quite simple and precise. Our wolf protagonist stands front and center, raising his hind legs as if ready for action. The painterly aesthetic also extends to the monochrome background, with the green forest contrasting with the red of the logo. We’d be lying if we didn’t say we found this one a bit nice.
Japan
woof woof. The Japanese design takes the game’s artistic inspiration and turns it up to eleven. Amaterasu now ran towards us with a flaming reflector on her back. Bright country colors spread across the left half of the box, while a pink cherry blossom peeks out in the background. It definitely has a lot going on, but my god, isn’t it beautiful?
