Brawl: Donkey Kong Country (GBA) Box Art

North America
Certainly more stripped down than the SNES version, the North American version of DKC on the GBA is all about our titular ape and his miniature companion. The platforming partners are front and center here, clinging to a vine and presumably looking for a place to land next. Simple, but effective.
Japan
The Japanese cover is certainly similar, though that wider box offers some extra design space for a more detailed forest. DK and Diddy are in nearly identical poses (though Diddy is looking at a lightly another direction), but we can get a better look at the couple’s surroundings, with a mountain and treetops in the background and vines in the foreground.
Europe
Things are a little busier in the European version. DK and Diddy’s vines are replaced with barrels, and Candy, Cranky, and Funky all make appearances. We particularly like the big baddies camouflaged in the jungle setting, which is great for really cramming as many sprites as possible into a small cover space.
