“Butter-Fly” is the opening song of the original Japanese version of Digimon Adventurewith Koji Wada providing vocals. Wada passed away on 2016 at 42. The video features all-new animation that follows the events of the show, from the kids waking up in the Digital World and meeting their partners to their final goodbyes at the end of the show.

Many people in the comments section said they started crying while watching the video. One person noted that the chosen children of this generation were gathered in the comments section. As of writing, the video has attracted more than 245,000 views in 10 hours.

There is no information at the time of writing regarding the Yamato album and Teen-Age Wolves. Teen-Age Wolves is the band name of Yamato in Digimon Adventure 02 but i wonder if the album has new songs with his voice actor Yuto Kazama as a singing voice. It can also be a Digimon Adventure 02 soundtrack but packaged in a more ostentatious style.

Original 1999 release of Digimon Adventure available on Hulu.
