Camille Winbush addresses backlash after joining OnlyFans
‘The Bernie Mac Show’ star Camille Winbush recently addressed the criticism she faced for joining OnlyFans.
TMZ reports that after her remaining testing slowed down, the 34-year-old chose to take her talents to the controversial location.

The actress first announced the news via Instagram in February 2021. At the time, Camille posted a video of herself switching from her usual outfit to a sexy black dress with the caption: “Yes, you heard that right. I joined OF! But I’m doing it my way*- I’ll say what I really want to say, sing, dance and share exclusive content. But Don’t think it’s just for men.”
She declares that she will eventually “[drop] skin care routine,” Answer fan questions and have special guests. Additionally, she noted that there will be “…minimal nudity. So if that’s what you were expecting then sorry, don’t disappoint.”

In a recent interview on ‘Comedy Hype News’ published on June 7, Winbush addressed the criticism she received on social media in response to her announcement..
She stated, “People outside the acting world have no place to talk about it.”
Camille said she saw comments saying, “Bernie Mac’s checks must have dried up.” The actress said it should have been obvious. It was a show in which she starred “20 years ago” when she “12 years old.”
Camille revealed that she is a regular “9 to 5 seconds” and owned an Ice Cream shop for three years as a teenager “sponsored by [her] pence.” Furthermore, she also stated that she “Teaching physical education to children” where she earned it “$11, $12 an hour.”
“If I can find a way to earn enough money to buy a comfortable and safe home in my own living room. Why don’t I do that?” she asked. Camille said she doesn’t see any difference in what she does on OnlyFans and acting, saying, “People hint at sex on camera. What’s different about it because it’s a different platform?” Additionally, she shared that her parents and friends are supportive. However, some family members criticized her decision. Camille recalls a relative asking if she had one “need a good therapist.”

The actress later explained that her content is not as vulgar as some people imagine. She says her content is “comparable to what you see in Maxim magazine.” Camille declared “Sometimes I wear thin underwear and dance around, but I’m never naked.”
She added, “I don’t do anything pornographic. Honestly, you probably see more on Instagram or Twitter or on the runway than what I’m showing.” Camille said, “So it’s not as scandalous as people think.”
