Can someone else use my Global Entry registration credit?

Bottom line
Before you give away a backup application fee credit, make sure you don’t need it. Global Entry membership lasts five years, but you may want to reapply sooner. Many registration centers are backlogged and it can take some time to get appointments; It makes sense to renew your membership early so it doesn’t lapse while you’re waiting for your interview.
